Soon, students in Kerala can carry e-waste and plastic to their schools for disposal and even get paid for it. Kerala government, in a bid to get rid of e-waste and plastic is all set to launch a unique initiative involving students from the State. The initiative, ‘green army’ of students will be providing the students a double advantage, of playing a key role in environment protection and earning some pocket money from the sale of e-waste and plastic. “We have plans to give them Rs.25 per kg of e-waste.
