Presentations Invited for Global Ayurveda Fest

Scientific papers are invited for third edition of Global Ayurveda Festival (GAF) 2016, scheduled to be held in Kozhikode from January 29 to February two.

Academes across the world, including students, faculties, researchers and R & D professionals in Ayurveda can send their papers for presentations in the international Ayurvedic fest, in which about 5,000 delegates from 50 countries would take part.

GAF 2016 will provide ample space for debates on its focal theme, Women and Health. Topics also include over thirty sub themes on women health, listed on the event website:

This time, GAF will include keynote addresses and plenary lectures by eminent scholars besides oral and poster presentations by delegates. In addition, an innovative session on myriad of interdisciplinary researches happening in modern medicine, traditional medicine and modern science also features.

The event, supposed to be the world’s largest of its kind is organized by the Centre for Innovation in Science and Social Action (CISSA) in association with the state government and several leading Ayurveda organizations, including AMAI, AHMA, KISMA, ADMA and AMMOI.

The 5 day event with International Seminar, Exhibition, Workshop, Business Meet and a host of other activities will facilitate the participant in building up networking and productive collaborations apart from updating on latest trends and knowledge in the field.

As a prelude to GAF 2016, a fortnight long ‘Grand Kerala Ayurveda Fair’ will be held through 14 districts of Kerala during January 15 to 28, ensuring participation of local Ayurveda institutions.
