A Role Model for Charity Work

K P Sulaiman Kizhisseri, Saudi based businessman from Kondotty, is proving to be a role model for his charitable activities. Thirty percent of all his yearly income will from now on be set aside for charity, says Sulaiman. Involved in philanthropic activities for many years now in his native Malapuram district, Kerala, Sulaiman is an entrepreneur and chairman of the KPS Group based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Last week he handed over the keys to houses he constructed for two poor families in Muthuvalloor Grama Panchayath. Sulaiman, who also runs educational institutions in Jeddah – he is chairman Ahdab International School and Al Mowhiba International School in Jeddah – has already chalked out his plans for 2016. He wants to conduct the marriage of 15 girls from underprivileged background entirely at his expense.

The keys to the two houses were handed over to the beneficiaries at a function at his residence in the presence of Panakkad Sayyid Hyderali Shihab Thangal.

Kondotty MLA Mammunni Haji, former Kondotty Block President Jabbar Haji, Kuzhimanna Panchayat President Bappu Haji, Muthuvallor Grama Panchayath President Saheer, Member of District Panchayath adv. Manaf, members of Kondotty Municipal council Muhammad Kutty A K, Marakkar, Former Block President M T Mohammad Haji were all present on the occasion.
